Dear Friends,
In previous Campaign Newsletters we have spoken of successes in using The Way to Happiness, not only by individuals but also in reducing crime and unwanted conditions on a broad basis in cities throughout the world.
In taking an objective look at the planet, there are areas that need help more than others. There are "hot spots" and then there are "sizzling hot spots!" When we already know that getting this booklet out into an area makes a positive change, then we definitely better get that booklet out in that area so that the "... calm will spread outward and outward."
The Way to Happiness has now been translated into the language of the Pakistani and the Afghan -- and the plan now is to get the booklet printed and massively distributed into these countries.
The message of The Way to Happiness is very appropriate to our current times. To quote the book itself:
"Sometimes others seek to crush one down, to make nothing out of one's hopes and dreams, one's future and one, himself.
"By ridicule and many other means, another who is evil-intentioned toward one can try to bring about one's decline.

We had tremendous support from you in getting the booklets out to New York after the September 11th tragedy. For all who helped, our heartfelt thanks go out to you.
We have more plans for New York, for Washington D.C. and the USA that are all very much ongoing, but now we must also turn our attention to another area of the world that desperately needs the truth that is contained in the booklet.

Nota du traducteur: la version "luxe" de ce document, en France, pèse 80 g environ, et coûterait à produire, pour les très grandes quantités que pond la scientologie en pareil cas, environ 0,80F pièce. En version plus ordinaire, telle que celle des premières parutions, coûterait moins de 0,60 F. La secte commerciale vend ses brochures à ses généreux donateurs pour le prix de 0,35 dollars, ce qui fait aujourd'hui 2,60 F, soit plus de quatre fois le prix minimal. Charité bien ordonnée commence par soi-même. Et il va de soi que la secte réclame, par liaison non sécurisée les numéros de carte bancaires des donateurs par fax ou téléphone.
